Cauliflower Poriyal



INGREDIENTS: 
Cauliflower – 1 
Coriander seeds (Daniya) – 1 tablespoon 
Red Chillies – 3 to 4 
Curry leaves – few 
Onion – 1 
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 teaspoon 
Pepper powder – 2 pinches 
Oil – 2 teaspoon 
Coconut Gratings – 2 tablespoons 
Coriander Leaves – few 
Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per taste 

DIRECTIONS: Separate the cauliflower florets and chop it. Put it in boiling water for few seconds and remove. Chop Onion finely. In a small kadai put the coriander seeds (daniya), red chillies and curry leaves. Dry fry till hot to touch. Cool it and powder it. In a kadai put the oil and add red chillies and the chopped onion. Fry for few seconds. Add cauliflower and stir fry for few minutes. Add salt, turmeric powder and mix well. Cover with a lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. No need to add water. If you want just sprinkle a handful of water. Add the spice powder and stir well. Cook for another 5 to 6 minutes. Sprinkle pepper powder and mix well. Add coconut gratings and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and remove.
